Self-Care is Essential!

If you don’t take care of yourself,
you will have nothing to offer in taking care of others.  

We have one life. One body. One experience. Why not make it great?

Taking care of yourself mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually needs to be a high priority. When we are refreshed, rejuvenated, balanced, and fulfilled, we can show up as our best self for others.

Life is busy. There are ALWAYS reasons why self-care can’t happen ~ Children, work, chores, and everything else on the to do list are obstacles only if you allow them to be.

Put YOURSELF on the to do list!

Today I am heading out for a yoga & meditation retreat. I will be taking a few days for myself to spend time with friends and continue my spiritual growth.

Making this happen was not easy. There was a lot to coordinate and arrange but I made it a priority.

Make a commitment …

🌸 What is one act of self care you can do?

🌸 When in the next 2 weeks can you find time to be with a friend?

🌸 When can you schedule a massage, get your hair or nails done, play a  sport you love, read a book or anything else that lights you up?

Make your life pleasurable. Find the time for you.
Whatever is in the way is just a circumstance. Handle it.
