In my 27 years as a veterinarian and 13 years as a practice owner, I’ve witnessed countless talented professionals struggle not because they lack technical skills, but because they haven’t developed their emotional awareness.

Consider this:

  • A brilliant veterinarian whose team dreads working with her because of mood swings and unpredictable reactions
  • A manager who misreads his team’s concerns, gets defensive, and leaves staff feeling unheard and undervalued
  • A team leader who pushes through exhaustion until burnout forces her to take extended leave
